Centre for Economic and Foreign Policy Studies (EDAM) is an independent think tank in Istanbul, Turkey that conducts studies and realizes policy–oriented projects in the areas of economics and international relations. Our objectives are:

To provide information and knowledge to support and facilitate the accession negotiation process between Turkey and the EU, and at the same time to generate opportunities for active participation of the business sector, civil society and academia in the accession process,
To help achieve a better and more accurate understanding of Turkey by the European public and opinion leaders.

While EDAM focuses specifically on Turkey – EU relations, it also aims to explore and analyze these relations within a multi-dimensional and global context in order to generate policy suggestions that will be influential on the decision-making processes both within Turkey and in EU member states.
